Sheralyn Gets Married – Part lll – The Wedding Day

Well here’s “Part Three”, with random
 bits and pieces
 of the wedding day,
as can be expected when all family members,
besides the Little Guy are in the wedding party!
After it was all said and done,
I realized I hadn’t even gotten
a photo of the bride and groom!
So if you’d like to see a real overview of all the wedding beauty,
you can check out the photographer’s

The two, make that three, things I remember most
 about the wedding are:

 Sheralyn’s smile.
All day long.
It was radiant.
And Dennis’ was as big as I’ve ever seen.

Second was just knowing that this sacred event of marriage
was a testament of God’s goodness.
He is making beauty out of His children’s lives,
and this day was proof of His work!
There were tears of joy.

The third thing was the beautiful weather God gave.
We are talking about low humidity and a breeze
under the shade trees on a July day in Virginia.
It was miraculous!
One of God’s wedding gifts.

Kadence and Cassia were junior bridesmaids
and loved every minute of it!

 I don’t know if these
two cousins could get any cuter!!!
They’re best friends.

The ceremony was at the edge of a field
in the shade of some huge old oak trees
on the farm where we live.

The reception was one grand picnic with guests sitting on straw bales or blankets and the kids enjoying swings hung from the old Oak branches.

“I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
 Be completely humble and gentle;
be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit
 through the bond of peace.”

Ephesians 4:1b-3

Sheralyn Gets Married -- Part II -- The Shower

Here’s part two in last summer’s wedding saga!
We had a bridal shower for Sheralyn in our back yard.
It was a beautiful summer evening with lots of dear friends,
a tasty meal,  and the Oak Leaf Hydrangea’s in full bloom.

“Therefore, prepare your minds for action,
keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely
on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

1 Peter 1:13
