Engagement Photos -- Ethan & Rachael

My Little Brother is getting married!

The lady in his life is a lovely girl by the name of Rachael.

Soon after they announced their engagement in December,

Ethan called and asked if I’d like to do their engagement photos.

Of course I would!

 So we headed out on a Sunday afternoon, tromping through the fields.

Ethan and Rachael are madly in love,

so maybe they didn’t even notice the cold

– at least they didn’t complain.

 I asked Ethan if there was something that would exemplify

things they’ve done during their courtship.

He mentioned milking lots of cows together.

No, not what I was looking for.

Sitting on rocks or logs drinking lots of tea.

There, that’s better!

And playing Othelo.

(This particular game edition dates back to the early

 years of my parent’s relationship – 

around 35 years ago.)

The afternoon left, and evening brought

           the moon as we were finishing pictures.

                                        Perfect.
