I hope you
enjoy this little overview of
Brady and Renita’s lovely May wedding!!!
I was honored to be the photographer for this
beautiful couple
as we celebrated what God has done
in bringing them together.
You can feel their joy!
And they’ve
shared their stories!

Renita's
story:
I
heard about Brady months before I met him or had a clearidea of who he was.
My
brother and his family attended Brady's church,
and I would hear his name
mentioned from time to time.
It was evident that this guy was more than a
stereotypical, run-of-the-mill kind of fellow.
I was intrigued by the reports
of this man who hosted Bible studies in his home,
headed up community-oriented
events, had mad musical talent, trotted all over the globe,
and lived with an
undeniable heart for ministry and love for the Lord.
I
ended up meeting Brady through church and was afforded opportunities
to observe
his life and character in different capacities.
I was always impressed by his
constant enthusiasm for life and his commitment to purposeful, missional
living,
no matter if he was at church, overseas, or in his own backyard.
I
truly believed it would never be possible to end up with a guy like him... so I
tried my best not to notice him,
not to think about him, not to like him.
It
didn't work.
Brady
and I started dating about seven months after I'd first met him.
On a warm
Wednesday morning in July, we went out for coffee, a walk, and a talk - nothing
too big or intense;
but the coffee was good, the conversation engaging,
the
company delightful... and the rest is history.

Brady's
story:
I
saw Renita one Sunday morning at my church.
I knew right off that I would have
to be careful how often I looked in her direction.
She was beautiful.
I noticed
that she dressed with feminine modesty and class...a rarity today.
She sat by
herself most weeks and carried herself with a princess-like confidence.
Once
again...rare. I tried to speak with her on a few occasions but she was more
guarded than the military at fort Knox. 😉
I
soon had the privilege to get to know and observe her more when she began
attending Bible study
at my house with her brother and sister in law.
She was
smart, whimsical, kind, sincere and serious about the Lord and living a life
committed to Him.
I was taken back by her culinary skills, her musical
giftedness, her thoughtful and gentle spirit,
and how she honored those around
her.
I also noted how close she was with her brother and how healthy (and
hilarious) their friendship was.
Yet still, she didn't give me much reason to
hope...was she playing hard to get?
Or was she just being careful and discreet?
Eventually I had to find out.
Some
weeks after speaking with her brother about possibly asking Renita out for some
Coffee,
I eventually mustered up the courage to inquire.
She said yes.
And the
rest, my friends, is our story. 😉

Brady and
Renita, I wish you God’s greatest blessings from the bottom of my heart.
I loved how your ceremony pointed clearly to
Him.
I know He will do great things with
your surrendered lives!
